Our maal (wealth) must not become an Obsession. Only a person's actions will determine whether he gets a Sweet or Bitter Maut (death).
Muraqaba-e-Maut continued. Keep all your affairs sorted out, since death can come anytime. Humble yourself and ask people for maaf (forgiveness). Fighting with others disturbs the tranquility of the heart. Shaitaan glorifies sins, but this is a deception.

Muraqaba-e-Maut continued. Every soul shall taste of death. If this taste is bitter or sweet depends on the Good actions of a person. Death can come at any time, don't be Ghaafil-negligent. Real life is that which is spent in the Remembrance of Allah Ta'ala.

Good car and clothes should not make us look down upon others.Incident of Aabid and sinner. Our weakness is when we are blessed with plentiful, then arrogance and pride immediately enters the heart.
Importance of paying zakaat on time. For government tax we run to auditors, yet for zakaat we are careless. Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) sunnats are Ashal (simple), Ajmal (beautiful) and Akmal (perfect). Rewards of zakaat, we are wasting money on useless things, e.g. wedding cards.
Muraqaba-e-Maut continued. Taufiq of Tauba can be snatched away any time. Dunya is a place of deception. Don't put trust (barosa) in life.

Person with pride is like a slave taking crown of king and putting it on his head. Incident between Moosa (alayhis salaam) and Firoun. Allah Ta'ala breaks pride, even a king has to use toilet to remove filth from his body.
Muraqaba-e-Maut continued. Even if you lock your doors and put guards outside,nothing can stop the angel of death from taking your soul. Don't be overcome by greed, it will keep you occupied with dunya. We need to develop Fikr-e-Uqaba (Concern for Akhirat).
Continuation of explanation of the dua "Rabbana atina fid Dunya...". A Nemat (bounty) of Allah Ta'ala is that He conceals our faults from others and puts good opinions in their hearts. The danger is that pride comes when we are praised. Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) says pride is when 1)We reject truth due to our weakness, 2)We look down at others. We must bring the greatness of Allah into our hearts.

Taqwa is only there because person has temptation for sins.Mind is a national highway,overtake the evil thoughts and burn them  in the furnace of taqwa.Shatter your heart and let Allah Ta'ala rebuild it with the bricks of his muhabbat. Everything today is instant, even death comes suddenly.
Continuation of explanation of the dua "Rabbana atina fid Dunya...". Pride is the Sheet of Allah Ta'ala. Whoever tries to snatch it will get flattened. Shukr is the opposite to Pride whereby a person attributes all his Nemats (blessings) to Allah Ta'ala. Example of sea sand boasting of its shine, reality is that it is the reflection of the sun.

Allah Ta'ala takes person through route of Hardship or Affluence. Make Sabr or Shukr and dont let pride flatten you.
Muraqaba-e-Maut continued. A true Aashiq of Allah Ta'ala does not question His Hukm (order). Example of shaytaan who was an Aalim, Aarif, Aabid but not an Aashiq. Nafs and shaytaan are the swords which want to destroy our Imaan.

If we praise each other or Allah Ta'ala praises us, realise that all praise is only for Allah Ta'ala. Dua of Nabi (sallallahu alayhi wasallam): ‘Make me small in my eyes and respectable in the eyes of people.'
Muraqaba-e-Maut continued. Maqsat (purpose) of our life is to prepare ourselves to see Allah Ta'ala in Jannat. Have a light attachment to the material things of this world, example of re-sealable envelopes.

Even dua of a desperate traveller is rejected if earnings are Haraam. Dua of Wudhu regarding spaciousness in the home and Barkat in Rizq.
Ramadaan is month for servicing our spiritual vehicles. Ambiya(alayhis salaam) are Masoom (sinless), Auliya are Mehfooz (protected). Suhbat of A uliya is a means of restraining a person from haraam. Fear Allah Ta'ala in public and private. Stoning of jamaraat in mina is only symbolic, the real shaytaan is in our heart.
